Google announced a new line of laptops called Googlebooks powered by Android with deep Gemini Intelligence integration.
The Magic Pointer feature activates a full-screen Gemini experience by wiggling the cursor, offering contextual suggestions.
Googlebooks will feature AI-generated widgets that pull data from the web and Google apps for a personalized dashboard.
The devices will have access to the Google Play Store and can stream apps from an Android phone via a dedicated taskbar button.
Google will not build its own Googlebooks; instead, OEMs like Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, and Lenovo will offer devices with a distinctive Glowbar on the lid.
