Former Director of Brijuni National Park Arrested for Illegal Hunting

Police arrested former Brijuni National Park director Eduard Kolić after media published footage showing him using a silencer and shooting at animals from a car.
Using a silencer is illegal under Croatian law and punishable under the Criminal Code.
Current director Nataša Stojkovski filed a criminal complaint against two employees on suspicion of abuse of office.
Employees linked the former director to irregularities including favoritism in contract awards, nepotism, suspicious invoices, and using park resources for private purposes.
