Coptic Pope Tawadros II visits Croatia

Patriarch of Alexandria and head of the Coptic Church, Pope Tawadros II, is on a four-day visit to Croatia.
He led a liturgy according to the Alexandrian rite in Zagreb for about 600 members of the Coptic community in Croatia.
He announced the establishment of a Coptic Church in Croatia to provide pastoral care for the youth.
He emphasized the importance of dialogue between Christian denominations and marking 53 years since the Joint Declaration of Popes Paul VI and Shenouda III.
He sent a message to Pope Leo XIV on the occasion of the anniversary.
