• The Adriatic Aerospace Association (A3) has launched a project to develop the ELF (Electrodeless Lorentz Force) electromagnetic rocket engine.
  • The consortium includes FESB Split, Končar Institute, Imperial College London, and Aerospace Innovation GmbH.
  • ELF propulsion is based on Lorentz force without electrodes, reducing wear and extending lifespan.
  • The goal of the first phase is to reach technology readiness level TRL3.
  • The project proposal has been submitted to the ESA PECS program for Croatia.
