The US Department of Defense released the first documents from a new collection on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), including videos, photos, and original records.
The PURSUE system was established by order of President Donald Trump, involving cooperation among multiple agencies including NASA, the FBI, and the Pentagon’s AARO office.
The materials cover unresolved cases and will be released in tranches due to the large volume, including photos from Apollo moon missions.
Secretary Pete Hegseth and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard affirmed commitment to declassification and maximum data accessibility.
The public is invited to participate in analyzing the documents, and NASA will apply the most advanced scientific instruments to the collected data.
