Dalija Orešković congratulates Zagreb Liberation Day and criticizes ruling majority

MP Dalija Orešković congratulated Zagreb on Liberation Day, emphasizing that May 8, 1945 ended the Ustasha regime of the NDH.
She accused the ruling majority of rehabilitating the Ustasha salute ‘Za dom spremni’ and imposing falsified theses about occupation.
Orešković called for support for the Trnjanski krijesovi event commemorating the victory over fascism.
She stressed that Croatia is an anti-fascist state and that Zagreb’s citizens celebrate the constitutional foundations of the state.
She concluded that those who consider May 8 as the beginning of occupation are Ustashas and fascists.
