• Tesla’s aim to roll out its supervised full self-driving (FSD) software in Europe got a boost from Belgium, where the Flanders region is looking into quickly adopting it after approval in the Netherlands.
  • The Netherlands provisionally approved the software on its roads last month, making it the first EU country to do so.
  • Flanders transport minister Annick De Ridder said she asked Tesla for documents to possibly follow suit, with a decision expected by the end of the week.
  • Tesla has also filed a request in the Wallonia region, while Brussels has not yet responded.
  • Several regulators in Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway have expressed concerns about safety and the software’s name.
